Clinicians
The clinical staff at Bridger Clinic includes Registered Nurses, Health
Educators, Nurse Practitioners and a Physician Assistant. Nurse Practitioners
and the Physician Assistant are clinicians specially trained to provide
physical examinations for health care. If your medical care requires
skills beyond the scope of our practice you will be referred to a physician
who will provide care for you at your expense.
Bridger
Clinic's Funding
This is your clinic! About 24-30% of our budget comes from federal and
state sources. The remaining funding primarily comes from donations
and visit fees based on income. We depend on you to pay for your care
or make a donation at the time of your visit so that we can continue
to provide you with personal and professional service. No one is denied
services due to inability to pay. Bridger Clinic is happy to provide
care to clients with Medicaid coverage. (We are not Medicare providers.) If you have private health insurance
please let a receptionist know when you arrive for your appointment.
Post-menopausal women are not eligible for Bridger Clinic's sliding fee scale, but may be eligible for Montana's Breast and Cervical Health Program. We can help women apply for MBCHP funding.
Internships
Bridger Clinic works with a limited number of students and others who
desire an experience in reproductive health and education. Anyone interested
in an internship or practicum should contact Bridger Clinic early in
the process of investigating field opportunities.
Volunteers
Volunteers are always welcome at Bridger Clinic. If you are able to
donate a few hours of your time, please contact the clinic.
